Sacramental Life

The Catholic school is often the ‘face of the church’ for young people and their families therefore students in our school are educated about sacraments as part of the curriculum and we are committed to nurture our students in an environment that leads them to develop their personal relationship with God.

Initiation into the Church's sacramental life is the means through which one enters more fully into the life of the faith community. At St Luke’s we provide a sequential and comprehensive Sacramental Program that is parish centred, school based and family supported.

We educate students in the traditions and beliefs of the Catholic faith by providing teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of the individual learner and are in keeping with diocesan policy.

Our Sacramental program invites students to receive:

  • The Sacrament of Reconciliation in Year 3
  • The Sacrament of First Eucharist in Year 4
  • The Sacrament of Confirmation in Year  6.

As well as many opportunities to celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist throughout the year.  St Luke's can also assist families with the Baptism of their children.
