WestField Local Hero Nomination
I am excited to announce that our very own Mrs Julienne Rankine has made the shortlist for the Knox Westfield Local Hero Award. Westfield Local Heroes are nominated and voted for by their communities, with the three top finalists per Westfield centre each awarded a $10,000 grant for their affiliated organisation.

Julienne has touched the hearts and showed our students they are never too young to help. Julienne founded the St Luke's Primary School Mini Vinnies program, which is affiliated with the St Vincent de Paul Society.

"Over the past two years, volunteers from prep through to Year 6 have made and donated blankets and scarves during winter, fundraised by running clothing and cake stalls and put together toiletry packs. "This process is very empowering for the students. Their role is voluntary, and their enthusiasm is immense," Julienne says. "Thank you in advance for your support of our wonderful Mini Vinnies program and St Luke's."

Voting is simple - please follow the link https://www.westfield.com.au/knox/story/2myUnMVG2GMtr0N0k1zbpP/local-heroes-2020 and enter your name and a valid email address.
St Luke's Mini Vinnies would be the proud recipient of the $10,000.
